Howe's ParkIt takes a community to raise children and it took a community to build Howe’s park and 11-acre Park, over 30 years ago. Spring through fall, you will hear the sounds of children and families enjoying the park and many of its recreational activities. Children laugh and giggle while playing on the colorful modern playground equipment furnished by the FRED Ethyl Grant. Families enjoy birthday parties and family reunions under the shelter while playing a game of rolle bolle on the court or horse shoes at the pit. Enjoy the great American pastime watching the children playing baseball at the three baseball/softball diamonds.

Youth sports are a community cornerstone. Health and wellness is important to childhood growth.  A variety of organized sports activities for children of all ages are available.
